Gidge Rural was started over 6 years ago by Bruce & Jo McKay to service the local area of lifestyle farmers.As Bruce has over 30 years farming experience, Gidge Rural grew quickly as customers from all over the state, sought advice and well as products.

In 2009 it was decided to form Aqua Pump & Irrigation, as the "water" side of the business had grown to the extent a new division was required.
